Randy has over 40 years of professional experience in the power generation industry. He has a diversified background in engineering, operations, regulatory processes, business processes, problem-solving, and customer relations. Randy has experience with most fuel types and prime movers. Randy exercises management-level oversight of IEA’s business operations. Randy holds a BS in Mathematics and General Science from the University of Dubuque and an MBA from the University of Iowa.

Vice President

Bryan has over 35 years of professional experience in the power generation industry. He has an extensive background in power engineering, electrical engineering, construction, operations, maintenance, and electrical troubleshooting. Bryan exercises management oversight of IEA’s generating assets including IEA’s generation portfolio. Bryan holds an MBA from the University of Iowa.

Vice President

Steve has over 35 years of professional experience in power generation, manufacturing and industrial control systems. He has an extensive background in power distribution, power generation, remote monitoring and control systems, project management, and operations and maintenance management. Steve exercises day-to-day control over the operations and maintenance of IEA’s generation portfolio. Steve is also the Vice President – Business Development of Sun Powered Solutions. Steve holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA both from the University of Iowa.

Maintenance and IT Director

Charlie has over 40 years of professional experience in the manufacturing and power generation industries. He has an extensive background in diesel generator mechanics and power plant operations and maintenance. Charlie is responsible for overseeing the ongoing maintenance and testing programs on IEA’s generation portfolio as well as IEA’s IT system. Charlie holds a BA degree and an MBA both from Ashford University.

Maintenance Manager

Javier has over 13 years of professional experience in power generation maintenance and operations. He has an extensive background in electrical engineering, electrical troubleshooting, and maintenance management. Javier is responsible for coordinating ongoing maintenance and testing programs on IEA’s generation portfolio. Javier holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from San Francisco State University and is currently pursuing an MBA from the University of Iowa.

Operations Manager

Benjamin has over 6 years of power generation maintenance and operation experience. He has insight and background into the importance of electrical power generation, and the processes by which it is produced. Benjamin oversees direct operations and scheduling for IEA’s generation portfolio. He is the newest member of the team and strives to improve and expand IEA’s systems.

Controller

Skylar has served as Controller for IEA since 2021. She is responsible for all accounting matters for the Company including Financial Reporting, General Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable. Prior to joining IEA, Skylar worked in a public accounting firm on the Tax Accounting team and in industry as a Finance and Lease Accountant. Skylar holds a BS in Accounting and Financial Management from Upper Iowa University, as well as an MBA from Louisiana State University, and became a Certified Public Accountant in 2023.
